The Island - Cast

The Survivors:

Hugo Dufort

One of the shipwreck survivors, Hugo is a great writer. After reaching the peak of his career as a Professional Author, he decided to go for a cruise to Island Paradise, to celebrate.

Hugo is calm, charismatic and, like every writer, he loves to read. On the other hand, he's eccentric and brooding.

Hugo is a simple person. Despite his fame and money, he doesn't need much to live. However, he can not imagine a life without his books and his computer.




Natasha Bolech

Natasha is a person who is accustomed to struggle in life. Having lost her parents when still a teenager, she had to work to continue her studies, which completed with bright notes, in addition to being admitted to the best university of Fine Arts.

Natasha took the months remaining before the university to go on a cruise. As she didn't have the money to pay for the trip, she took a job in the ship's bar.

Natasha is a courageous person, handy, artistic and loves the heat. But, like most artists, she is absent-minded.




Serena Jade Cullen

Since she was a teen, Serena's greatest dream was to be the CEO of her father's company. And she  worked very hard for it. She completed both universities, Business and Communication, with the highest grades.

But Serena was the result of the infidelity of his father, a love affair with a genie. Although his father loved her unconditionally, she always came second. Behind his older brother, the legitimate son of the family, whom his father promoted to CEO of his company. Serena had to settle for a position within the supervision.

Disappointed, she decided to go on vacation for a while to cool off. We chose the most luxurious cruise to the mysterious islands of Paradise Island. Where she never arrived.

Serena is ambitious, workaholic, perfectionist and born saleswoman. Of course, being a genius, it is also supernatural fan.

The Natives:

 

Father Raoni

Father Raoni is the direct son of one of the castaways, who chose to stay on the island. His parents taught him all about the civilized world of the time. Its technology, the newest inventions.

Father Raoni was once married and he never fully recovered from the loss of his wife, who drowned. He never had another relationship after her death.

Being the eldest, he also took over the leadership of the village.

Traits: Loner, gatherer, perfectionist, handy, friendly

Antony

Also the son of a castaway, Antony is the second oldest of the village. As Father Raoni, his wife also died too early. However, after a long time of mourning, he recovered and fell in love again. He is now married to Millaray.

Antony is respected, loved and admired by everyone in the village. He always tries to find the positive in any situation.

Traits:

Millaray

The meaning of her name is "Golden Flower". It was given to her first because of the color of her beautiful, long, curly hair but, later, because of her traits. Although in the village everyone is free to change their names when achieving the young adult age, she never wanted another name.

Millaray is considered to be the sunshine of the village. She has to power to cheer up everyone using no more than a few words and her lovely smile.

Traits: Brave, social butterfly, perceptive, animal lover, charismatic.



Nahuel

Nahuel received this name when he was still a kid because of his love for cats. He also decided to keep the name when he aged up to an young adult. Nahuel is the fisher of the village. He loves fishing, he can stay the whole day and night fishing.

Nahuel's dream is to marry the mermaid, Yara, and have many, many kids.

Traits: Great kisser, family oriented, cat person, heavy sleeper, angler.

Yara

Yara was present at the time of the wreck and it was she who saved the lives of many shipwrecked. Since then, she has regularly visited the village. Often, she spends months in the company of her native friends. She just leaves when she really miss her adventures at sea and the company of other mermaids.

Traits: Loves to swim, adventurous, brave, sailor, loves the outdoors.




Aruana

Aruana is much loved and respected by all. She is the one who keeps the village clean and organized. Since she also loves to cook, she takes over this task quite often. Although she is vegetarian, everybody loves her food.

Her first name was Aracaê, what means quarrelsome bird. Although she opted for another name, everybody knows that she still can be very dangerous... Especially in the morning, her mood may vary frequently.

Traits: Natural cook, gatherer, eco friendly, vegetarian, grumpy.

Chann

Chann is the only werewolf in the village, what makes him a loner, even though he doesn't really have this trait. Chann misses someone like him, maybe this is the reason he loves the dogs so much.

When in human form, he spend his time either fixing something, taking care of the dogs or fishing.

Traits: handy, inappropriate, daredevil, dog person, angler.

Yaiê

Yaiê was always a very lonely child. She used to spend hours tending the garden or learning to cook from her mother, instead of playing with the kids of her age. Even today she feels better in the company of her plants or animals that inhabit the village. She rarely seats together with the others in the evening.

Traits: Dramatic, commitment issues, natural cook, green thumb, dog person.



　


Ebisu

Ebisu is a warlock and the doctor of the village. He inherited his powers from his parents, both wizards. Before they died, they taught Ebisu all he needed to know about how to use all the resources that the very nature can offer as means of healing.

Traits: Brave, good, gatherer, excitable, easily impressed.
